Initiated the action "C2" for SCI "Alpe della Luna Bocca Trabaria". The first cutting of the forest areas have been implemented and will be completed in the autumn with the planting of Abies alba, locally sourced.
The 25 areas covered in the forest are of average size of 500 square meters and have a buffer zone cleared of about 3000 square meters.
He cut only small beech medium, large, old trees left. These plants, rich in necrosis and rot, are above all important microhabitats for saproxylic insect species.
